Happy Easter!

I was able to go home for Easter weekend! First thing Chase, mom and I did - color Easter Eggs!Rachel brought the twins to see me. Cole and Zach are so big and are doing really well.

Then Jerah and I went to visit Laura, Chris and Kacie. Kacie has gotten so big and so much fun.

Kacie was so happy, she even let me feed her.
Jake, Sara and Emma stopped out at the house to see me. Emma loved all the toys at the house and was very happy!
Emma really liked this one duck that sang Old McDonald Had a Farm!
On Easter Anna was at her parents house so she stopped over as well. It was great to see her.
Happy Easter and Happy 32nd Birthday Derek!
Chase on the Easter Egg hunt! His hands are full of chocolate eggs.
He found 2 more
What, there is one on the moose's head?!?! Uncle Derek had to help with that one.

It was time for Birthday cake and Chase helped Uncle Derek blow out the candles. He did such a great job, Uncle Derek gave him five!
It was great to be home, always nice to get home and see my friends and family. I wasn't able to see all of my friends, it was a short trip! I guess I will just have to get home again soon.

Reno and Tahoe 2-29 and 3-1

Al and I headed to Reno Friday night, we had a great time. We decided to try our hand at Black Jack and we were doing pretty good for awhile, but then of course we were out of chips:)
Here you can see me standing in front of the Reno sign!
On Saturday we headed to Squaw Valley for some snowboarding and skiing.

Al is getting strapped into his board, he is ready! I decided to ski this time, since I wanted to get to the top of the mountain:)

Al and I at the top of Squaw Peak, elevation 8900, we were very high! Of course to get down we had to go down a black diamond, I wasn't too excited about that since the black diamond hills (notice that I said hill instead of mountain) in MN are a bit different than the ones in CA! I was up for the challenge, after a bit of planning my attack on the mountain, I did make it down without a fall so that was good. Below you can see me making my way down the black diamond!

Here is a picture looking down at Squaw Valley from Squaw Peak, a lot of beautiful sights!
