Our new Niece, Allison

Our niece Allison Nicole was born on October 26th and we were able to go down and see her on the 27th. She is very cute and has a lot of hair. Sydney was very into the baby, it was cute. Gilly didn't care she just wanted to eat her snacks! Can't wait to see more of her soon.

Gilly is 8 Months Old

Gilly is 8 months old, how can that be? Here are a few pictures we took, she really does love the camera, as soon as she sees it she smiles! She is now 29 inches and 22.6 pounds, big girl. She is sitting up alone, only falls when she is reaching for something but then she gets some good tummy time. She isn't crawling yet, but rolls every where, it is funny. She still can get in trouble by rolling around and find frames on the floor etc. She loves food, if you can't tell, and really wants to eat what we are eating. She ate some black beans and peas the other day, I gave her a noodle and she wasn't too sure about that! She still loves to watch her sister and is really enjoying standing up to things. She doesn't have much hair yet, but hopefully soon!

October Fun

Well we have been having a lot of fun so far in October! Syd wore tights to school and was so excited, she woke up at 6am that morning and wanted to put her tights on right away, what a goof! I took a few more pumpkin pictures of the girls by our front door, they did great that day I can only hope they do that when we have family pictures taken!

Syd is dressed the same as her baby, Grandma and Grandpa H gave her that outfit for school and she really liked being able to dress the same as her baby:)

We went down to see Grandma R and Charlie while they were in town and had a great day. We even got a group photo in, the kids might not be looking but I think it turned out pretty good.

The of course we have Gilly "helping" mom with the laundry!! The girls playing together in their jammies, they love each other so much!

Pumpkins

On Saturday we went to a Pumpkin Patch, well it was just a lot of pumpkins on some church's front lawn, but it worked:) The girls did pretty good, Gilly was so excited about what was going on it was hard to get her to smile when Syd wanted to:) They had fun and Syd keeps asking to go back, mainly because she saw a playground next door and really wanted to go there:) We are excited to try carving pumpkins with Syd this year, should be interesting:)

September Fun

September has been a busy month for us. After we got back from MN Syd started preschool, she goes two days a week for a couple hours at a time. Here she is with her new backpack and with her sister on her first day. She is doing great, not always wanting to go, she wants Mommy to stay too, but she loves it once she is there and talks about her friends and teachers the rest of the day.

Al and the girls on Packer Sunday!!

Gilly turned 7 months on the 19th, wow where did the time go! She now has 4 teeth, well the top two are through the gums but not all the way out yet, it is pretty cute. She is an eater, as you can see from her legs:) She is really into big people food, if we are eating something you better be sure that she wants to try it:) She is a very happy baby and just loves her big sister.

When I picked Syd up last week from school she was telling me how much she missed me etc., then she got in the car and looked at Gilly and said "I really missed you too baby and I really love you" wow that just made me smile, how cute!

Just this past Saturday we went to a Pumpkin Patch/Petting Zoo the pumpkins were not orange yet so no pictures of those. Syd loved, loved the animals, it was so cute. She had to feed them, and wanted to keep feeding them and then she got to ride the miniature horse, Boogle, and she loved it. We also let Gilly sit on Boogle and she just wanted to try to get his hair, it was cute. We also were able to climb on some hay bails and Al and Syd did the hay bail pyramid, it was great. We can't wait to go back to actually get some pumpkins:)

Quick MN Trip - Sept 5-9

Well we made a quick trip to MN last week, it was great. We drove through the night again and in our new Van so it was much nicer and the girls did great! We spent the week with family and Al left on Wed and headed to Green Bay for the Packer Game, he had fun. Here are a few pictures from our trip. With all the grandkids together we tried to get a picture, it worked a little, hard with the kids, but they did pretty good.

Gillian learned SO BIG while we were in MN, so cute. We got to see a few people, but since it was a quick trip we didn't get to see everyone.

The kids had a great time playing, so fun to have cousins right there.

Sydney starts Preschool tomorrow, she is so excited, I will post some pictures after her first day!
