Sydney took a few steps!!

Last week Sydney was very brave and took a few steps on her own, it was great. She has since taken a few more here and there and showed off her skills to Al when he got home this week, so that was nice!

She is all over the house, either crawling or have you take her hand so she can walk all over! She loves going up the stairs (supervised of course) and when she gets to the top she is very proud of herself. She loves to dance still, music comes on and she starts to groove! She is an eating machine and will try anything once, doesn't always want to try it again, but loves cheese!!!

I will try to get some new pictures posted this weekend or early next week! We can't believe that Syd is 11 months old and that next month she will be 1. This last year has gone by so fast and it has been so great!

Chase "Brad Paisley" Oslowski

Chase loves Brad Paisley and loves to put on "Stages" (concerts) whenever he can. For his birthday he received a microphone and speaker and just loves performing. Here is a short clip from when I was home in December. He also dressed up as Brad Paisley for Halloween and is going to his concert in a few weeks.

I can't upload the whole song because the file is too big for the blog, but at least you get to see a little of what he can do:)

Dancing Sydney

Christmas in MN - Dec 15-29

Sydney and I went to MN for two weeks. Al was going to have to work so we decided to spend a little more time in MN so we could see everyone. We missed Al a lot but we also had a great time seeing family and friends.

Here we had just got in from the airport and it was COLD. Syd and Caden checking each other out, they get so excited when they see each other.

Sydney's first time in the snow, she liked it. She especially liked it when Grandpa pulled her in the sled, the faster her went the more fun she had.

Our last night in MN

Sydney learned a lot of new tricks while we were in MN. She can now do "so big", wave, clap, stand on her own, "touch down" - she learned that one from Caden and just loves to stand all the time. She is crawling everywhere and if she can walk along anything she is doing it. We had a great Christmas and we were able to celebrate with Al once we got home, I will try to post some pics soon.

Dinner with Friends and determined Sydney

I had some of my friends over for dinner and it was great. Syd was able to play with Tim some before she went to bed and she slept through the dinner party, it was great.

Now that Syd is very mobile she is very determined to get what she wants. I see that book, yes I finally got it!
One of her favorite things to do is to take everything out of one basket and put it in another, that keeps her very busy which I like:)
