January Update

Well the time has been flying by here in Texas! We had some rain this past weekend and the sun is finally out today and it is warming up again so we are liking that. With the sun out that means that Syd and I can get out to the parks again, which when living temporarily in a little apartment is necessary!!!

The BIG NEWS is that Syd is almost fully potty trained, she is all day but wears a pull-up for her nap and night time. This is great, Al and I are so proud of her! She is also getting more and more words and putting them together, it is so fun to watch her grow. She loves to go to the park and chase other kids, she is a bit of a copy cat right now:)

I am 35 weeks along, only 5 weeks to go, crazy that Baby K #2 is almost here. I am doing good, just tired due to chasing after Syd all day! Al continues his training and is doing well. We still don't have an end date, all depends on the weather here but hopefully we can get done and get moved into our new house in OK soon!

We hope you are all doing well, I will try to get some new pics up this week, but at least wanted to share an update on Syd, the baby.

December 2010

A few pictures from December, not sure why the pictures are not centered, but I can't figure it out!! We have had a good December so far, the weather is still warmer than we are used to, we just had shorts on the other day!! Today it is more like a fall day, highs in the low 60's. Syd and I have been very busy with trips to the zoo, play dates, going to the park and of course playing with her baby. We wish that we could see family and friends for the holidays but it just isn't going to work out. We are looking forward to spending the holidays as a family. We wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season!

Anyway here is Syd in her pig tails and pushing her baby around the apartment.

Here is Syd giving her little sister a touch. Here I am at 30 weeks.

Here is Syd sitting in her big girl bed, she loves having so much space!

Here Daddy and Syd are helping Mommy by decorating the sugar cookies. Mommy would frost them and then Syd and Dad would sprinkle them!

Santa

We took Sydney to see Santa on Saturday and well, she wasn't a big fan. She was totally into seeing him while we were standing in line but as soon as it was her turn, she held onto Daddy as hard as she could.
Now I have the picture up in the house and she sees it and says "Ho Ho Ho", what a cutie.

Thanksgiving 2010 - Oklahoma

Since we had the time off we drove from San Antonio to Edmond, Oklahoma to spend Thanksgiving with some of the Kerkmans! The drive was long, Syd did great, but we will sure be glad to only be an hour or so away vs 7 or more with traffic, oh and I am not a fan of Holiday traffic on the road!

Sydney had fun playing in the pool with daddy, it got a bit chilly so she had to get out.

Sea World - Christmas Celebration

We took Sydney to Sea World and we had a great time. They just started their Christmas celebration so they had Christmas music playing and decorations up all around.

We watched a few shows and Sydney sat through them great, she just watched the animals.

Mommy and Syd got to feed the dolphins, it was great. Since I was holing her I was not able to get my other hand up to pet them, next time.
