Our Niece Torri's Graduation from High School and Al's Birthday

We went to Boise, ID for Memorial Day weekend to celebrate Torri's graduation and I also surprised Al with a birthday cake, a few days early, but hey everyone was going to be there, so why not!

Syd is checking out the dogs, she wasn't too sure of them at first, but once they calmed down and she did too, she loved them, it was cute. She was actually crawling around, acting like them:)

Monday - Al's birthday - We decided to try the pool again, this time Katti and Keegan came over to play and so Syd actually had some fun!

Once we got home then Syd and I wrote Dad a Happy Birthday message on our patio with our sidewalk chalk!

A Visit from Cousin Eddy, Tami and Cooper

Cousin Ed, Tami and Cooper came to CA to do a drive from LA to SF and when they got to SF they stopped to see us, which was great. Cooper(2 yrs) and Sydney had so much fun, they just followed each other around and had a blast! On Friday, Ed, Tami, Cooper, Syd and I went to Napa for the day, well Syd and I only lasted for a couple places, then we went home:)

Redwood Valley Railway

Sydney and I met up with some other families to ride the Redwood Valley Railway. It was a lot of fun. Sydney had on her train hat that she got at Chase's birthday party last year and it was perfect. We had a beautiful day and had some wonderful views of the bay and the Redwood trees!

At the end of April we went to an A's game and Syd loved clapping for all the good plays, she also had to wear her hat and sunglasses!

What does a Lion say?

Sydney loves to imitate a lion and we had to share with everyone!

For some reason the video is messed up, it is only a 20 sec clip but it uploaded as a 40 sec clip so the sound ends at 20 sec and the video slows down and stretches out until 40 sec, I am not sure I have tired it over and over again, you get the idea:)

Play time Fun!

Sydney loves to play with all of her toys, here she is looking at mom and smiling:)

She has really been interested in her baby and she even feeds her.

We got Syd a T-ball set, and she likes it!

She was obsessed with sitting in our outside chairs, so we got her one of her own, oh does she think she is special. As you can see, she loves the bat, she carried it with her at all times that day:)

Spring Time Fun and Visit from Grandma

After we got back from Germany, Grandma Roper came out to visit and we had a great time.

We took Sydney to a little farm and she liked the animals, wasn't really into touching them. She would reach her hand out and touch them with one finger and then pull it back, it was pretty cute.

Sydney loves to get in and out of the rocking chair and she is very good at it. She also loves having her hair up in the "Pebbles" hair:)

We had gotten a lot of rain overnight and when we took Sydney out to play in the backyard we didn't have a chance to dump the wine barrels over. She played in the yard for a while and then she found the water, she had so much fun. She was wet from head to toe, it was great.

She is also into coloring, well not sure if it is coloring yet, but she likes to do it.

Just yesterday we went and got her a sandbox, she LOVES it. She got right in and was having so much fun. I know I will enjoy having this for the summer for sure!
