Video of Sydney with Santa

Here is the video of Sydney's visit, as you can see the picture without the crying was a bit of a trick:)

Sydney's visit to see Santa and misc pics

Today we took Sydney to see Santa, she was not too thrilled, there were tears but in the end we got one without tears, no smile but at least she was looking at the camera. She did a good job.
I put up our tree a little early so she could get used to it and she really liked the lights.
Look at my pretty bow!
Watching the Packers and wearing a Santa hat
Just a cute picture

Florida Trip to visit Grandma, Charlie and Great Grandma Le Strange

We went to Florida to visit Grandma, Charlie and for Sydney to meet Great Grandma Le Strange and we had a great time. Here are a few pics from our visit.

The Atlantic Ocean
Sydney was at the Atlantic on Tuesday but was asleep the whole time, so this was her first visit awake. She liked the noise and watching it, but wasn't too keen on going in.A big wave came and got us:) Luckily the water was nice and warm

Me and Al
Mommy and Sydney - look at that smile
This time we got her in her swimsuit and she still wasn't too sure. It was very windy and so the waves were pretty big, she didn't last too long:)
Grandma had an orchestra concert that night, we couldn't go but we got a picture with her before she left.
Al, Grandma and Sydney
On Thursday we headed to the park so we could play a little tennis and also let Syd swing, she really enjoyed it. I think she would sit there all day if we let her:)

Then we headed out to see if we could find some Manatees, we had gone Wed afternoon and there weren't any there. We did get one to pop his nose out of the water but he didn't stay around for us to pet him or anything, I was pretty bummed. We did see some small dolphins in the water so that made up for it a bit:)
For Great Grandma's Birthday we went to dinner at The Chart House, very nice place right on the water. They even put a Birthday message on the menu for her!!
Here are the 4 generations - Sydney, Al, Mary and Cora

That was our last night in Florida, it was so nice to see everyone and we had a great time.

Happy Halloween

Sydney wanted to say Happy Halloween!!!
She even left the hat on for a few pics

Our Little Pumpkin wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!
I will post a few more pics once she gets up from her nap:)

She really doesn't like the hat:)

On Tuesday we headed to Al's work for trick or treating, she had a fun time seeing all the kids, as you can see no success with keeping the hat on:)
Here she is out in front of our house by the pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch. These pictures I took on Thursday the 29th.

8 Months Old - October 26th

Well Sydney is 8 months old today, wow how fast the time has gone!
21.6 pounds
29.5 inches
She got her second tooth on the bottom this weekend which was great. She is still a drooling machine so it is still working its way to be more visible! She isn't crawling yet but it won't be long. She loves to stand up to things and eats like a champ! She laughs at Al all the time it is so cute! She can pick up her cherrios and her puffs and put them in her mouth by herself and like to try to pick up little pieces of cheese as well. She still turns heads when we are out and about with those bright blue eyes that she has. She loves other kids and likes to look at pictures of other kids. She is so much fun, Al and I just love everyday we spend with her.

We took her into the city to see the Sea Lions, there were a ton of them and they were very smelly!! I think they were a bit far away because she wasn't too concerned with them, but it was nice to bring her into the city and take her first picture with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

First Tooth 10.11.09

When I was feeding her today I thought I would check for teeth since she has been chewing on stuff non-stop recently and sure enough I felt a little sharp thing on the bottom. As most of you know trying to look and see the bottom teeth is not an easy task but I did get a look finally and confirmed what I felt:)
A picture with Mommy, wearing a little jumper with tights, so cute.
Getting ready for a ride in the jogging stroller so mom and dad can get a run in:) She usually pulls at the hat most of the ride:)
One of the last warm days to wear shorts!

Kisses and Giving 5

Sydney has a few new things she wanted to share with everyone! She loves to give kisses and give you 5, which is just so cute. This isn't the best video of her giving 5, but she kinda does it:)
