Sydney Rolled over!!!!!!!!!!!

Sydney rolled over from her tummy to her back twice today!! Al and I are so proud, our little girl is getting so big. We do have it on video, but we are not sure how to upload it to the blog yet, so hopefully soon! We just wanted to share the wonderful news. She also has recently found her voice, she is so funny, she just likes to make noise to make noise:) I should have her 3 month pictures to upload early next week.

Al's 31st Birthday

Al had to go into work for a bit in the morning, so Sydney and I tagged along so we could spend more time with him. After that we went and got Zachary's pizza and hung out at home. Then of course we did cake and ice cream, it was a great day.

Memorial Day BBQ

On Memorial Day we headed to Sheila and Mike's house to have a BBQ and to meet their new puppy, Kiera. She was so fun, Sydney didn't really know what to think of the puppy running around and making noises, and Kiera was not too sure about the noises Sydney was making, it was pretty funny.

Visit to MN and WI - Sydney's Baptism

Al, Sydney and I headed to MN on May 14th. We had a great time and we were able to see a lot of people. It was Sydney's first plane ride and she did great, she slept for take off and then she woke up and ate a little, played and then went back to sleep. We woke her for landing so we could feed her and make sure her ears wouldn't hurt, but she is a born flyer!

Right away we had to compare Sydney to her cousin Caden who is a month older, as you can see Caden is bigger, but not by much, Sydney will catch up soon!

Sydney got to finally meet her Auntie Jessie, Uncle Glenn, Cousins Chase and Caden, Uncle Derek and Auntie Melanie.

Friday - May 15th
Grandpa bought both babies some PJ's from Alaska, they have bears on them, so we had to have them both in them for a picture!

Saturday - May 16th
Syd is really happy, she knows that she is going to meet a lot of people today.

Laura, Chris, Kacie and baby (due June 4th) Lesinski came out to visit.

Sue Johnson came over to meet Sydney and give her this hat that she made for her and also to give her a bracelet for her Baptism that was from Amy (High school friend).

Sara, Emma, Maria, and Nicole came out to see us.

Aunt Janie, Cousin Mariah, Cousin Kinzie, Cousin Tillie came out to meet Sydney and Great Grandma came to see her again:)

Monday - May 18th
Anna and her daughter Kayla came over to visit - Kayla is 10 days older than Sydney

Tuesday - May 19th
Grandma and Grandpa bought all three kids some Alcatraz shirts when they were in CA.

Wednesday - Friday
On Wednesday we headed to WI for Al's Grandpa's funeral. This was not planned so we extended our tickets through Saturday and rented a car and drove to WI for the funeral. It was very sad to see Al's Grandpa go, but he is now with Grandma and happy. This was a good opportunity for Sydney to meet the rest of her Kerkman Uncles and her Grandpa. It was nice to be able to see all of Al's cousins and family while we were in WI and Sydney loved meeting everyone.

This was a great trip to MN and WI for Sydney, she had her first airplane ride, her first road trip, her first stay at a hotel, she got to meet all of her Aunties and Uncles, she was baptized and also got to meet a lot of my friends and family. Sydney can't wait to get back to MN, we just don't know when that will be.

Mother's Day and Auntie Andrea and Uncle Mike's Visit

Andrea and Mike were able to come out and visit us, and to meet Sydney, for a quick weekend. We had a great time. We spent Saturday in Berkeley and then just hung out at home that night.

On Sunday we had a great breakfast and then we headed to Treasure Island to walk around. We had great views of San Francisco and of the Bridge. It was so beautiful out. As you can see Sydney had a great time being carried by Dad!
