The wedding was great, although there was some weather issues after the ceremony, everything was great and Jerah was beautiful and we are so happy for the two of them!

MN Trip Continued - Thursday August 9th

The Hendrickson Families Planted a Sugar Maple Tree at Lake Independence in memory of our friend Brian Thomas Swanson

Here is the truck with the tree - we actually followed it all the way to the park, it was really neat.
Here he is getting it set to plant.

Then he had to check to be sure it was straight and in the right position.

Then we were all able to push one of the levers to bring up the tree spade, it was very nice.

Now he is opening the spade up to move it away.

There is Brian's tree, it is a 9-13 year old Sugar Maple.

Trip to MN to visit Family and Friends - August 7-12th

Bedroom Furniture

We finally replaced the two pieces that were ruined in the move! As you can see it fits perfectly in the bedroom! The two new pieces are the big dresser and the 5 drawer chest that the TV is on.

July 20th - Our 1st Earthquake in CA

Well today we were woken up at 4:42 am to a 4.2 earthquake, it was the first earthquake that I have ever felt and the first one since we have been to CA. Nothing was damaged at our house but it was enough to wake us up. Since this was something new for me I thought I would put it on the blog. No pictures but just thought I would share.

July 14th - Sonoma Valley

Al and I spent the day in Sonoma Valley. Here I am with the vines at Valley of the Moon winery.

July 3rd - A visit with Chase!
