July 3rd - A visit with Chase!

Chase with Auntie Angie at the park.

Uncle Al with Chase - Chase wanted to get away, this way we could keep track of him.

Chase thought it was fun to drive Uncle Derek's truck at the park!

Muir Woods National Monument

Muir Woods has Douglas Firs and Redwoods. Muir Woods is only about an hour from our house, in Marin County. The road to get there is very windy, but very beautiful.

Looking up trying to see the top of the huge trees!

Me standing by the Kent tree, it was damaged in 1982 and finally fell in 2003, it was huge!

Al standing inside one of the trees.
This was in our path, so we just walked through it. Kinda fun.

Al and I on the way down from our hike. It was a nice 1.5 hour hike.

Our Backyard

Here are a few pictures of our backyard. As you can see our grass is not that great, but we are doing what we can with it. I did buy a few pots to put flowers in and I have a tomato plant and I have 2 tomatos already, I am pretty excited about that:)

Napa for the Day

May 5th

Al and I went to Napa for the day, we had a great time. This was the first time we have seen the vines with leaves on them, it was great. We had a wonderful time, got some wine, can't go to Napa and not buy any wine!

Al and I at our last winery for the day. We had a great time, it was nice and warm. Napa is just starting to get busy for the summer season.

Mt. Diablo

Al and I went to Mt. Diablo on April 29th. From the top, at 3800 ft. you should be able to see San Fransisco, the Sierras but it was a little cloudy that day so we were not able to see those places, but we had a good time and can't wait to go back again.
