Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Here are a few pictures from yesterday and today. Yesterday we took Syd to an Easter Egg hunt and she did great. She was not a fan of the Easter bunny but she liked the prizes! Then we colored eggs yesterday and you can see on her arms she was sporting two tattoos that were in her eggs from the egg hunt:)

Today we had a nice egg hunt in the house for Syd and she had a lot of fun. When we told her the Easter Bunny came she wasn't too thrilled until she realized what he brought:) She got a new baseball mit, so she won't have to try to wear mom or dads anymore:) She also got some candy and some bubbles and other fun stuff, oh a new belt, she loves belts! Gilly just enjoyed watching her big sister!

Guess who is 2 months old....Gillian McKenna

Gillian is 2 months old today, crazy how fast time goes by!

Here are her official stats from the doc today

12.1 pounds 95th percentile

23.5 inches 97th percentile

She also had to get shots, that is never any fun, for either the parents or the kid! She has been pretty sleepy today so hopefully that is helping her feel better.

She is a great baby and is sleeping 5-6 at night for us which is great.

We are looking forward to spending a fun filled Easter weekend with both the girls.

Syd's First haircut

Syd had her first haircut today. We talked about it a lot and she was excited, until we got there then she didn't want anything to do with a haircut:) But once we got her on the fun chair and gave her a sucker, well then she was game. She wouldn't wear the cape, but that is ok.

Here is the before, all I had her do was trim the back so it was all one length and can grow at the same rate now.

Gillian is 6 weeks old

Gillian turned 6 weeks old on April 2nd. She is 22 inches and 11 pounds, getting to be a big girl. We didn't go and have her pictures taken professionally, we just tried to do it at home, I think we got a few good ones! She is starting to smile at us some but not for the pictures:) She is still a great baby and so much fun to have around.

Big sister Syd is learning more and more words each day and putting them together, it is so great. I sometimes have no idea what she is saying it is funny! She is also having fun going to story time at the library and playing with friends at the park. We try to get to the park a few times a week if we can, we are still trying to get used to all this OK wind, it is nuts!
