Al, Sydney and I took a trip to Germany to see Andrea and Mike. While in Germany we took a few trips. The 10+ hr flight over was at night and Syd did great, slept for 5 hours, and she adjusted to the 9 hour time change. As for coming home, well we are still working on it, and it was a day flight and she only slept for an hour, she still did great, but it was a bit more work than the flight over.
Here we are taking a walk in the countryside on our first full day in Germany.
Playing in Auntie Andrea and Uncle Mike's backyard
On Friday we went to Prague, Al and Andrea were running in the Half marathon. Here they are ready to go.
Uncle Mike and Sydney - the cheerleaders
While Al and Andrea were running, Mike, Syd and I did a bit of touring of Prague, beautiful city.
Tired out Syd just waiting for the finish.
Here they are almost done, so proud of them.
After the race we went out to eat and Syd really enjoyed being out.
Sunday we had a few hours before our 5 hour drive home, so we went and explored Prague and saw the Castle and beautiful church.
Strollers in Europe, not so easy, here is Syd being carried down by Uncle Mike and Dad
On the drive home we stopped in Nuremburg, Germany and saw a few sights.
Monday - we took a day trip to Heilderberg. We saw the big castle and had great views of the city.
Tuesday we went to Stuttgart with Andrea for work and then Wednesday we headed down to Munich for a few hours. Here is the Haufbrahaus in Munich, it was too busy to eat at but a fun place.
Friday was Andrea's birthday so we went up to the Rhine River area. We started out in Rudesheim and then went down to Boppard where we were staying. Here are Auntie Andrea and Uncle Mike and Sydney at lunch.
