Sydney turns 1!

How fast this last year has gone. She has mastered walking and is all over the house. We got her 1 year pictures taken yesterday and she did a good job. She really does like to be in front of the camera! Here are a few of the pictures, enjoy.

Sydney loves to talk on the phone, well her play phones that is:) If you give her the real phone she will only listen for a few seconds:)

Here is a picture of her walking, she had not really mastered it yet, but was working on it. Oh and we love hats right now, any hat and if it is a baseball hat she loves to have it on backwards!

Dancing Machine

Sydney is a dancing machine, she doesn't just bob like she did around Christmas time, she now gets her head and whole body into it. She has the one hand going and the legs are going, it is too funny! I haven't gotten a chance to get it on video yet, as soon as she sees the video camera she has to come and see that, but hopefully soon!

She is also taking more and more steps on her own, sometimes she isn't too sure and goes back to crawling but other times she is very brave and very concentrated on what she is doing! So fun.

Just wanted to give you a quick update, hopefully I can get some more pictures up soon too.

Jan 2010, 11 Months and Seattle

Well Jan has been a busy month. Sydney turned 11 months old and we decided to take a quick trip up to Seattle for a visit. Here are a few pictures to see how big Syd is getting.

Here she is giving her baby a hug.

She loves to help mom with the laundry, her idea of helping is emptying the basket, even if everything is folded:)

She loves to take a bath, she would stay in there forever if we let her.

When she waves, she doesn't just use one hand, she uses both:) She loves to say "hi" to everyone.

We were very tired this day so I put in one of her videos and she just sat there and watched it, it was so cute. Also looks like Mom didn't do such a great job of cleaning off her mouth that day, if you look close enough you can see some orange in the corners of her mouth:)

She loves to play in the tunnel!

Jan 26th - 11 Months Old

If you look close enough you can see my top tooth on the right side of the picture, it is just peaking out below my lip. I only have one top tooth and 2 bottom teeth, just waiting for the others to come in.

I got a new hat, it is still a bit big, but I like it.

Jan 29-31 Seattle

Al had just gotten back from a trip so we decided to go to Seattle, we found a great deal on a flight and hotel. Here is a picture from our hotel room, we had the perfect room for a perfect view of the space needle.

Once Syd got a nap on Friday we headed down to the Space Needle, it was a lot of fun and the weather held out for us to get some great pictures up top and enjoy the afternoon.

Saturday

We headed down to Pike's Public Market to check it out and see if we could catch the guys throwing fish, no luck there. Here Syd and I are hanging out with "Rachel - the unofficial mascot of the Pike Place Market"

The weather was not the best so we decided to take a Ferry over to Bainbridge Island.

On the way back we decided to try to get a few shots of us with the Seattle Skyline, well the wind was at our backs then and the weather was cloudy but the pictures are good.

We had a great time in Seattle and hope to go back sometime as there is so much more to do. Sydney did great sleeping in a new place and adjusting to all the stuff we did.
