Sydney's First Visit to the Beach and Ocean

On Saturday Al and I took Sydney to Baker Beach in San Francisco, it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the wonderful weather and views of San Francisco and the ocean.

Of course we kept Sydney in the shade, but she liked watching all the people and hearing the crashing of the waves.

The Pacific was a bit chilly, but since it was her first visit to the ocean we had to put her little feet in there! She didn't even flinch when I put her toes in the water.

Today we took a walk before it got to hot and so I had to take a picture of her in her stroller, all ready for the walk! Hat - check, sunglasses - check, links - check, Barker (stuffed dog) - check looks like we had everything, so off we went!

4 Months Old and unexpected backyard guests

Sydney is 4 Months old today!! Wow how fast time goes. We go to the doctor on Monday for her check up and of course more shots:( We did weigh her yesterday and she was 16.4 pounds, big girl. She is growing up so fast and doing so much. She likes to sit up more, not that she can on her own yet but she likes to see what is going on. She is very much a routine girl, up for an hour or two and then back down for a nap, and of course eating every 3-4 hours, except at night:) She is such a joy, we love everyday with her! She lets you know if she is hungry or tired, otherwise she just plays and loves to look at the trees, that is new this week.

We did a little photo shoot at home today, here are a few pictures of her at 4 months old.

Here are a few pictures of our backyard guests. I have seen the turkeys when I walk around the neighborhood but I have never seen them in my backyard! It was a mom and 4 babies. I didn't go outside so the shots are through the window but pretty good. I took the last one from Sydney's room as they were walking down the street!

Angie's 31st Birthday

We had a great day. Sydney and I hung out all day and then Al surprised me and came home early, it was really nice. He brought home flowers and a chocolate chocolate ice cream pie, it was so yummy! After Sydney went to bed, Al went out and picked up dinner for us and we had a nice relaxing evening in.

Father's Day

For Father's Day - Sydney and I took Al to dinner at Extreme Pizza, one of his favorite places to eat. Sydney got Al this t-shirt, it says "Worlds Greatest Dad"Here is Sydney in her car seat all tuckered out from the long walk to dinner. She was stylin in her sun glasses!

On Sunday, June 14th we went hiking at Point Pinole, it was a great day and we had some wonderful views of the bay.

Sydney's 3 Month Pictures

On Saturday, May 30th we took Sydney to have her pictures taken since she was already 3 Months old. She did pretty good. We had to wake her up, she loves to sleep in the car, so she wasn't totally awake yet, but they turned out pretty good.

Sydney Rolled over!!!!!!!!!!!

Sydney rolled over from her tummy to her back twice today!! Al and I are so proud, our little girl is getting so big. We do have it on video, but we are not sure how to upload it to the blog yet, so hopefully soon! We just wanted to share the wonderful news. She also has recently found her voice, she is so funny, she just likes to make noise to make noise:) I should have her 3 month pictures to upload early next week.

Al's 31st Birthday

Al had to go into work for a bit in the morning, so Sydney and I tagged along so we could spend more time with him. After that we went and got Zachary's pizza and hung out at home. Then of course we did cake and ice cream, it was a great day.
